Das Musikfestival UNTERNEMHEN GEGENWART ist inzwischen zu einem wichtigen Element im Regensburger Musikleben geworden. Es widmet sich dem Schaffen von zeitgenössischen Komponist:innen aus Regensburg und der internationalen Szene.
Komponst:innen haben seit jeher die Stimmungen und Strömungen ihrer Epoche und damit die „Großwetterlage“ in Klänge verwandelt. Das ist heute nicht anders, und so wird das Festival 2025 ein Panorama unserer Zeit, unsere aktuelle „Großwetterlage“ hörbar machen.

The music festival UNTERNEMHEN GEGENWART has become an important element in Regensburg's music life. It is dedicated to the work of contemporary composers from Regensburg and the international scene.

Composers have always transformed the moods and currents of their era and thus the "large-scale weather" into sounds. This is no different today, and so the festival 2025 will make a panorama of our time, our current "major weather situation" audible.

Auf der Suche nach Sinn und Ruhe

Unsere heutige Zeit ist geprägt von schrecklichen Ereignissen (Kriege, Hass), Angst, Unzufriedenheit und Fake News. Gerade jetzt ist es notwendig zur Ruhe zu kommen und aus dieser Ruhe heraus konstruktiv nachzudenken. Dieses Programm will einen Beitrag dazu leisten. Zu Gehör kommen Werke von Bach aus verschiedenen Suiten und im Kontrast dazu aus dem Hier und Jetzt Kompositionen von Leo Brouwer und Rainer Stegmann.

In search of meaning and peace

Our time today is characterized by terrible events (wars, hatred), fear, dissatisfaction and fake news. Especially now it is necessary to come to rest and think constructively out of this calm. This program wants to contribute to this. Works by Bach from various suites and in contrast to this from the here and now compositions by Leo Brouwer and Rainer Stegmann are heard.
